Sophie Ann Russell is a unique author who admires and looks for stories with an unusual twist, often with an aesthetic flair that's drenched with hidden meaning.
For this reason, she has written her own series of books that touch on such aspects and themes that she herself has craved from a book or film since she was very young. Her motto since she came up with this extraordinary series is: "Why not?" Not only that, but the all powerful question 'What if?' is what inspired the series in the first place and fueled the magic that lives throughout it. What if something particular happened that is not ordinarily deemed a part of this life? How would a person react? More importantly, she had to ask herself, "how would I react?" And this reaction she gave to the main character of the story.
It all began with this: "What if, for instance, your own parents disappeared for no reason and you had to figure things out on your own and continue living your life? Would you get divine help from some mysterious magical source? Why would the parents have disappeared in the first place? Did they die, or did they just simply disappear into nothingness, like they were not real at all? Like they were just illusions?" After asking this question, her imagination ran wild, and it sparked a torrent of unique and surreal ideas that never would she have the courage to put on the page or into a story had it not seemed possible by remembering those two simple words: What. If.
Who else would test that out, other than Sophie Ann Russell?
