Demon Hunt is the novella
prequel to Renee’s Shadow Stalker serial novel. It tells the story of the trip
referred to in Shadow Stalker that Kado and Auren had taken before the time
covered in the novel. Renee has authorized me to release a short excerpt from
the novella, which will be free until February at Smashwords. I will provide
the link after the excerpt. And without further ado, here’s the excerpt.

“Wait!” Kado said, holding
up his hand to halt her. There was a hole in the ground where a large rock
might have been. The dirt underneath was still wet so it couldn’t have been
moved too long ago. Blades of grass were bent and pressed into the ground
nearby, the size of the demon’s foot. “It went this way.”
