DKC Team Holiday Greeting

The year is coming to an end and changes are on the way for DKC among our team. We are sad to see Joshua leave after only a short year of working together. But we wish you a happy journey that you are setting off on Joshua. Without further a due here is Joshua's special holiday greeting and a bit of information on his journey he is taking.

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow! It has been a wonderful year with Dragon Knight Chronicles. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading so many fascinating stories and being part of the think-tank of DKC. My knowledge of so many processes has expanded due to being part of a team that works hard to maintain integrity, and constantly strives towards being successful. As the holiday season approaches, I am like many others and am frequently counting my blessings. DKC is definitely among the list as I cherish the connections that I have made with so many of you. There are others that I have not had the opportunity to chat with as frequently as I have liked. It is my hope that all of you will reach out and maintain a relationship with me over the remaining years. I say this, because as many of you know, I will be leaving DKC as of January 1, 2015. These last few months I have been busy preparing for the launch of my small press publishing company, Crimson Edge Publishing Company.  We will be specializing in Fantasy, Science Fiction, Dystopian Fiction, Historical Fiction, Horror, and Tabletop Game Guides. We will be focusing heavily on publishing quality, progressive fiction and only taking on a few authors / publications per year. I cannot tell you how excited we are to get started and definitely are looking for support and feedback across many venues. You can like our Facebook page or follow us on Twitter.

We have several publications lined up for 2015 already! We will be accepting submissions from new authors in January 2016. This first year will be spent on supporting our few publications and expanding our reach into these particular genres and the challenging market. We are happy to announce that we will be publishing Melkorka on January 16, 2015. At this time, we are engaging with folks that would like to be a part of the pre-release marketing strategy (which many of you are familiar with), prepping interviews across all media platforms. The cover reveal is on December 23, 2014!  What I am most excited about is a special offer that we are putting together for the release of the book. Select authors who would like to provide a one or two sentence quote about the book will receive a pre-released Ebook on December 26, 2014. This will give those chosen about ten days to read the novel and prepare their quote, which will be included either on the cover or upon an interior page. This quote will, of course, reference the author and their published works or affiliation with a company. DKC Team Holiday Greeting

Happy Holidays Everyone! As you know I am the boss behind DKC and put together this holiday celebration. I find myself always struggling with this time of year between all the December birthdays and the passing of my dad on the 19^th.

This year I decided I wanted to celebrate in a different way away from family and do something fun with my new indie author friends, that I made throughout this year. So that is how the 12 Days of Christmas was born. I wanted to create a tradition with my company and my author friends. I wanted to give a special thank-you to all of them for joining me this year along my journey to help them get more exposure as authors and become close friends along the way.

I also want to give a special thank-you to everyone that participated in this event and for those that attended. Just by you clicking join event and commenting shows you support each an every author participating and that itself deserves recognition in its own part.
